Emma Cole - Lead Vocal
I started my singing career on the jazz circuit in London back in the 90s and made many guest appearances in swing and jazz bands all over the country. Wanting something a bit more ‘rock ‘n’ roll’, I formed and fronted the hugely successful London based covers band ‘Near Naked’ before moving to the Midlands and joining ‘The Curious Things’. I enjoy song-writing too, co-writing many original songs with Andrew. I’m completely eclectic in my musical preferences, but have to put Dave Grohl and ‘The Foo Fighters’ at the top of my list. My favourite TCT cover track to date has to be “Sweet Child o’ Mine”.

Andrew Higgins - Guitar & Vocals
Fell in love with the guitar when I was about 15 and been playing ever since. First instrument was an old Burns which I should never have let my brother mess with. Would have been worth something now!
I've played in loads of bands over the years but The Curious Things is my first covers band and it's a blast. In terms of influences my heroes would be people like XTC, Kings of Leon, The The, (old) AC/DC, Massive Attack, BB King.
Favourite track we play is usually the latest one we are working up for the set.

Jim Steeley - Drums & Percussion
I’ve been playing drums for over 30 years and as well as playing in many covers originals bands, I have spent much of that time in orchestra pits playing for musical theatre. Drumming influences include: Ringo, Phil Collins, Bob Seibenberg, Steve Gadd, Simon Kirke, Clem Burke, Jon Hiseman, Dave Mattacks and Nigel Pegrum.
I currently play a vintage Premier kit, with Paiste, Zildjian & Pearl cymbals, a mix of Premier and Pearl hardware, and Vic Firth 5BN sticks. My favourite TCT cover is: My Sharona.

Ian Robinson - Bass Guitar & Vocals
Affectionately known as Bassman!! Picked up the bass at the tender age of 15 and haven't put it down since!! I've a diverse range of influences (many consider odd!!) including Flea (Chili Peppers), Geddy Lee (Rush) and the great Jaco Pastorious... enuff said. Currently play Musicman Stingray V, Fender Jazz Fretless, Rickenbacker 4003 (stunning electric blue) basses through a 500W Trace Elliot 1x15 combo paired with a Trace Elliot 4x10 cab powered through a Tech 21 Sansamp bass driver!! Fave TCT track Can't Stand Losing You....
